MasterCraft, dealers gets a new online link

Article Abstract:

MasterCraft Boat Co, a Vonore, TN-based ski-boat builder, has established a private online connection with its dealers with the use of CONNECT software from Connect4Business of Littlerock, AR. With the use of the online link, a dealer can obtain warranty registration, file warranty claims, view electronic parts catalogs and purchase parts. It can also be used by MasterCraft to disseminate information concerning sales, inventory, service inquiries, parts and shipping.

Sea Ray selects Key as lender to dealers

Brunswick Corp's Sea Ray Boats Division has endorsed Cleveland, OH-based Key Recreation lending as the company's preferred provider of retail and wholesale loans for its three boats brands, namely the Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Baja. Aside from inventory financing, Key recreation also offers dealers other services such traditional banking services, working capital lines and real estate loans.

Dealers help 'design' Albemarle's new 41-footer

Article Abstract:

Albemarle Boats Inc of Edenton, NC, will introduce a 41-foot yacht in summer of 2000. The boatbuilder used its 2000 dealer conference, held in Norfolk, VA, in Dec 1999, to gain insights from dealers regarding the design of the new boat's cabin, cockpit and helm. According to the company, the main resaon behind its approach is that dealers know what consumer wants in large boats.
