Miller's 'Beer Bucks' auction loosens up online visitors

Article Abstract:

Miller Brewing's Get the Goods promotion has resulted in the inclusion of an additional 65,000 names on the brewer's online database since May 1, 2001. The online and offline promotion relies on TV, radio and print advertising to entice consumers to purchase Miller Lite products bearing a unique code that can be redeemed through the company's Web site in exchange for Beer Bucks. Consumers can use Beer Bucks in bidding for sports memorabilia and other merchandise at the auction section of the site.
