WorldPrints shifts focus to banner ads

WorldPrints.com and Webshots.com are shifting their management focus from e-commerce to acceptance of banner advertisements on their Web sites. The firms have generated huge volumes of Web site traffic by offering free screensavers and wallpaper. WorldPrints initially sold prints of pop art, photography and fine art reproductions. Its daily page views have increased from 50,000 to over 1 million.
