E-mail campaign boosts launch of Fireworks 3 software

Article Abstract:

Macromedia Inc implemented one of its most successful product launching in late 1999 by using targeted e-mails. The launching of the DreamWeaver Fireworks 3 software solution to the company's worldwide customer base, which took place from Nov 1999, to Mar 2000, included an e-mail campaign that made use of a database marketing system that was implemented in 1999. The system allowed allowed Macromedia to make timely sales pitches to the client via e-mail to facilitate the sale.

Quadstone joins Siebel Alliance Program as a premier partner

Quadstone, a predictive marketing software and services provider, has joined the Siebel Alliance program as a premier software partner in May 2001. As part of the alliance, Quadstone will integrate and validate its predictive analytics and software with Siebel Systems' e-business solution. The integrated solution will generate customer selections, rules, scores and segments using Quadstone's predictive marketing solutions and sales, service and marketing data captured by Siebel's e- business applications.
