Los Angeles, CA-based online service Izyx Inc has launched an Internet site called SmileFinder.com that serves as a library on 170,000 dental offices in the US and Canada. The Internet World Wide Web-based company, which serves the dental industry, noted that Smilefinder.com's search engine will enable consumers to select dentists according to their needs and geographic location, investigate dentists' educational history and professional background and learn what payment methods/insurance plans are acceptable.

Mailshell.com to filter unsolicited e-mail

Sta Clara, CA-based mailshell.com has launched an electronic mail service that filters out unsolicited electronic mail messages from business-to- business lists and commercial opt-in electronic mail. The online service will also provide compose, send and receive electronic mail services similar to those furnished by online services such as Hotmail.com and Yahoo. Subscribers will be able to enlist in the company's electronic mail programs for several interest-specific categories.

Sir Speedy starts Web initiative

Sir Speedy has launched its own Web site where registered business customers are given secured, personal Web pages to place and keep track of orders. The Web site would also allow corporate customers to request, quote, place reorders, transmit files or choose their own graphic designs. Businesses that regularly use Sir Speedy for printing their business cards, letterheads and direct-mail pieces will be the most-likely users of the Web pages.
