TargetCom taps Patrick Buchanan for bang!zoom

Direct response agency TargetCom Inc of Chicago, IK, has named A Patrick Buchanan as president of bang!zoom marketing division in San Francisco, CA. The unit will provide proprietary software and integrated marketing solutions to technology-based clients. Buchanan said that its Playground Program feautres customized platforms to help middle and senior managers in developing innovative marketing strategies including the use of online stategy sessions and ideation toys.

MNH, Team South will merge under new name

Direct marketing services and advertising firm Merkley Newman Harty has announced its plan to merge with marketing agency Team South. Their plan is to conduct an aggressive marketing campaign directed at their existing customers and new account prospects as well. Merkley Newman Harty has approximately $280 million in billings with 210 employees. Among its customers are BMW Motorcycles, Mercedes Benz USA, Forbes and the American Museum of Natural History.

D&B Marketplace is a licensed numbers-crunching program that uses business data from Dun & Bradstreet. The firm also imparts its marketing expertise first-hand during seminars.
