Snyder acquires Clinical Communications

Greenwich, CT-based Clinical Communications Group has been acquired in a pool-of-interests deal worth $108 million by Snyder Communications Inc. of Bethesda, MD. Clinical Communications Group, a pharmaceutical education and marketing agency, has the same client base as Snyder within its sales businesses but provides a wider range of pharmaceutical education services. Snyder CEO Daniel M. Snyder said the purchase will enable the firm to offer its clients a one-stop integrated educational solutions.

DraftWorldwide adds fuel to Canada base

DraftWorldwide has acquired Toronto, Ontario-based Fuel Advertising Inc to solidify its international reach and to offer US clients similar services in its neighboring market. The purchase will bolster DraftWorldwide's operations in Toronto and support Draft Montreal's effort to climb the ranks of Canada's direct marketing agencies. The acquisition is DraftWorldwide's third agency buy in Canada since 1999. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

DraftWorldwide moves into Scotland, Austria

Edinburgh, Scotland-based independent marketing communication group Boroughloch has been acquired by UK-based DraftWorldwide to extend its geographical reach from the UK to Scotland. The move is part of the firm's plan to make the UK a key market. In addition, Draft is close to acquiring a Vienna, Austria-based direct marketing agency as part of its expansion movement into German-speaking countries.
