Portera cuts loose with BTB campaign

Portera, a Web-based business applications and service provider, is launcing a direct mail campaign targeting 10,000 decision makers in IT and management consulting firms. The business-to-business mailing is the second phase of the Campbell, CA-based firm's five-month campaign to convince consulting organizations to outsource their business infrastructure. The mailing will include a gift, probably a leatherbound log book.

Request4bid.com rolls out mail campaign

Article Abstract:

Online reverse-auction site Request4bid.com will launch a direct mail campaign of 5,000 pieces. The first phase of the campaign will involve 2,500 drops that will specifically target IT technicians, IT managers and IS managers working at large corporations. The second part, will also involve 2,500 drops, and will commence 2 1/2 weeks later after the first drop. The first will focus on the advantages of buying equipment directly through Request4bid while the second will discuss reverse auction.
