Yamaha introduces 2 financing promos

Yamaha Marine Group of Kennesaw, GA, has introduced two outboard financing programs to entice new buyers. One of the two is the Portable Promotion program, which allows customers to buy portable outboards with no down payment and no payment or accrued interest for six months. This promotion applies to buyers of model 1999, 2000 or 2001 four-stroke or two-stroke engine from 2 hp to 25 hp. The other financing program is called Repowering Made Easy, which offers outboard buyers no down payment, low interest rates and long-term loans. The promotion can be availed by purchasers of any single or dual engines, priced above $7,500. Both programs end on Dec 31, 2000.

Yamaha expands dealer training

Article Abstract:

Yamaha Marine Group of Kennesaw, GA, has launched a training course for its dealers, called Performance 500 Educational Symposium. The five-day course, which will be conducted with the help of marketing and sales specialists Stemnock and Associates Consultants, teaches financial planning, marketing, leadership, service, sales and customer management to the outboard manufacturer's dealership network.

Yamaha manual is on CD-ROM

Article Abstract:

Yamaha Marine Group has begun offering dealers its Outboard Service Manual in a CD-ROM format. This CD-ROM version manual is provided for each 1999 and later model of outboards, including any full-color wiring diagrams supplied in the print version. Yamaha Marine also provides dealers with the Acrobat Reader software that is necessary to operate and automatically install the CD manual on a PC.
