pcBoat.com adding 2 more databases

Article Abstract:

Atlanta, GA-based Internet online service pcBoat.com has acquired two perioicals in two separate transactions. It first acquired American Marine Publishing Inc (AMPI) in a deal that included AMPI's print and CD-ROM versions of 'The Powerboat Guide.' In the second deal, pcBoat.com acquired 'Mauch's Sailboat Guide' and certain related assets from Glerin Business Resources Inc. The acquisitions will enable online access to the combined databases of both periodicals' photographs, statistics and reviews on more than 3,000 boats through pcBoat.com's Boat Selector Guide.

Colfax Corp, a Richmond, VA-based manufacturer of fluid-handling and industrial-positioning products, has acquired Dana Corp's Warner Electrical Industrial Products Group and part of the Warner Electric Motors and Controls Group. The company revealed that the Warner Electric Industrial Products will be integrated to its Colfax Power Group while the Warner Electric Motors and Controls Group will become part of its Colfax Automation Group.
