Article Abstract:

Computer software has become the primary ingredient and also the main issue in the constant stream of contemporary telecommunications equipment that is being brought to market. The complex software that make these telecommunications equipment work contain thousands of lines of code needed to accomplish innumerable functions that must be tested. The use of specification-based test generator to evaluate the robustness of telecommunications software and Teradyne Connection Systems' TestMaster product is evaluated.

All dressed up

Article Abstract:

Salad dressings are a common part of a salad consumption, but the healthy vegetables can be undermined by the amount of fat in dressings and mayonnaise. Some food manufacturers try to enhance low-fat salads with sugar. Australia does not require labeling for fat standards in mayonnaise. This means that labels for low-fat products may be misleading. Examples of different kinds of dressings are detailed.

The light fanatastic

Article Abstract:

Energy-saving lights bulbs from Sylvania, Philips, and Mazda came out tops in an evaluation of 24 different types of light bulbs, ranging from 3.50 to 15 pounds sterling in price. Only 25% of homes in the UK currently use compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), which use a fraction of the electricity of conventional bulbs, and which also last ten times as long.
