Tiflex has introduced EBS 6000, a new ink jet professional printing machine which handles one to four text lines with a character height of 1.5 to 14 mm. The French company wants to offer a wide range of machines implementing the ink jet technology, following the acquisition of Ciamtec in 1996. Tiflex, which is investing a lot in ink jet, is also a specialist in ink pads, car registration plates, silkscreen printing, etc. The company reports FFr 160mn in sales and a 350 staff, and is also willing to offer a wide range of inks.

FRANCE: THERMAL SEALING FOR YOGURT POTS

Article Abstract:

The Italian company Benco Pack has introduced J. Line, a new thermal and mechanical sealing process for yogurt pots. This new process provides flexibility, because it makes it possible to seal yogurt pots on demand. Another advantage of J. Line is that two to eight pots can be sealed at the same time in the record time of five seconds. The J. Line process is priced at FFr 1mn.
