Suncare preparations

Article Abstract:

Suncare produces offering higher levels of protection have seen growth due to publicity about the dangers of sun exposure. Some suncare manufacturers have launched educational campaigns in primary schools and many have invested heavily in R&D. The weather is an important factor in determining suncare product sales, and other factors include holidaying abroad and the changing age demographics. The suncare market is dominated by The Boots Company plc as both a retailer and manufacturer. Market segmentation, supply structure and advertising and promotion are also discussed.
