The twin towers of Kuala Lumpur
Article Abstract:
The 450-meter-high Petronas towers of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Malaysia will be the two tallest buildings of the world. The automatic controls and the communication systems are manipulated from the twenty odd buildings situated surrounding the complex. There are four main control network systems namely Building Control System, Building Security System, Building Information System and Fire Alarm System. A Central Telecommunication Office controls the telecommunications among different buildings within the city center and with the outside world.
