It's now no longer critical and nor is it thinking

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the idea of critical thinking as a measurable skill that can be taught and evaluated. It is argued that critical thinking cannot be simply taught, that students are more likely to learn to think critically by engaging with their own experiences, and that measurable, predictable outcomes have no place in an intellectually engaged environment such as an university.
