Kids behaving badly? Its's all in their genes

Article Abstract:

Researcher and Deputy Director of the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Research Centre, Robert Plomin has found evidence to question role of nurture in child development. He suggests that genes may influence developmental traits such as bad behaviour. He points out that his research will help determine which children may have problems in the future and therefore should receive help to change their conduct. Plomin and David Reiss looked at how environment effected the actions of the teenagers in 720 families. Plomin is based at the Maudsley Hospital, London, England.
