Match of data and desire

Article Abstract:

Content and users are the two elements of a successful web business, according to ingenta Chief Executive Mark Rowse. He feels that people who require information as part of their working lives will be willing to pay for the service offered by ingenta, which now runs the Bath Information and Data Services used by more than 70% of UK universities. He believes that there is a significant commercial opportunity to make this resource available to professional knowledge workers who are not working in academia.
