Panasonic VTRs will record action at Salt Lake

Article Abstract:

International Sports Broadcasting LLC (ISB) has named Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd as a supplier of broadcast equipment for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, UT. ISB will use the Panasonic DVCPRO50 digital VTR as the official recording format for the event. Panasonic will have the option of providing the host broadcaster with digital cameras, TV monitors and other broadcast equipment.
