Pricing Seen Pivotal to Watch, Calculator Markets

Article Abstract:

For watches, 1984 is expected to be a year of lower prices and sales volume ten per cent over 1983. Calculators should remain at the same prices and repeat their 1983 sales volume of thirty million units. Solar powered calculators are expected to continue increasing their market share. A great deal of attention will be paid to the design and packaging of calculators. Imports will bring down prices for quartz analog and digital watches.
