TLP-X21J, TLP-X20J LCD projectors

Article Abstract:

Toshiba Corp introduces its TLP-X21J and TLP-X20J LCD data projectors that deliver 2,400 ANSIlumens. The $11,818-TLP-X21J, which weighs 6.2 kg, includes a document camera, while the $10,000-TLP-X20J, which weighs 5.3 kg, does not. The two models employ three 1.3-in wide-view LCDs for real XGA resolution. Also, each model uses a highly efficient 210W high- pressure mercury lamp. Both projectors are 40% brighter, 23% lighter and 40% smaller than earlier comparable models.

LT155, MT1055, MT1050 projectors

Article Abstract:

NEC Viewtechnology has unveiled the LT155, MT1055 and MT1050 projector models that support UXGA resolution. The LT155 is equipped with a 130W New-Short-arc high-pressure lamp and has a brightness level of 1,200 lumens. The MT1055 and the MT1050 feature 1.3-in LC panel and 200W NSH lamp for a brightness level of 2,600 lumens. The former is priced at 1.3 million yen, or $12,150, while the latter sells for 998,000 yen, or $9,327.
