ANSI, RAB agree to establish National Accreditation programs

Article Abstract:

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) have agreed to start a U.S. National Accreditation Program (NAP). The program will accredit registrars and auditor training course institutes with the ISO 9000 quality management standards and the ISO 14000 environment. ANSI will be responsible for the publicity of the NAP within and outside the US. RAB will deal with the four accreditation programs, running under the NAP. ANSI, with the help of the RAB, will be responsible for the representation of the program in international accreditation programs.
