Do the right things right

Article Abstract:

US companies can enhance quality control using International Standards Organization (ISO) 9000 standards by minimizing documentation used to manage quality. Quality management programmes should employ the right level of trained personnel. Organizations should carry out internal audits on a regular basis, with newer systems requiring more frequent audits than older ones. ISO 9000 standards should be incorporated into company quality management systems.
