EPA amends HON rule
Article Abstract:
The EPA has amended the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants relating to the Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturing Industry. Among the amendments are the addition of tetrahydrobenzaldehyde and crontonaldehyde to, and the removal of acetaldol from, the list of chemical production processes covered by the rule. Compliance demonstration requirements for flexible operation units were also clarified in the amendment.
