Ford hit by 'hypocrisy.' (Arthur Ford Ltd.)

Article Abstract:

Small family contracting business Arthur Ford Ltd. has accused the British government of hypocrisy over its stated concern for the interests of small businesses. Arthur Ford was working as a sub-contractor for Turriffs under a Government Form of Contract or Agreement when Turriffs went into receivership. Arthur Ford is owed nearly 120,000 pounds sterling and says that the Agreement provides for payment of outstanding monies to be made direct to the sub-contractor. However the Treasury Solicitor has resisted pressure to do so and the monies have been paid to Turriffs' receiver instead.
