ISO/TAG 12 makes recommendations

Article Abstract:

The Geneva-based International Organization for Standardization's technical advisory group 12 (ISO/TAG 12) has developed three recommendations, two of which are housekeeping-oriented, and one focusing on changing the group's name. The group consists of ISO 9000, which is the series of quality-management system standards and ISO 14000, the series of environmental-management system standards. The group aims to find ways on how to improve the two management-system standards and increase its efficiency for users.

QS-9000 third edition: clarity at what cost?

Article Abstract:

Debates persist over the advantages and advantages of the Third Edition of QS-9000. Proponents of the changes declare that they are only a clarification of the requirements listed in the Second Edition. On the other hand, opponents protest that the changes restrict improvement efforts, enhance the Big Three's control over their suppliers and a waste of time and resources. Experts agree that there has been little change and that most of it was formatting changes.
