Article Abstract:

Career development for engineers includes engaging in programs to broaden up one's knowledge and perspective. An engineer also needs to know his limitations and competitions and to determine whether the reward outweighs the risk of what he is doing. Engineers should continuously progress by not being contented of what has already been attained, know how to make decisions and observe coordination and cooperation within their group.

Teamwork success

Article Abstract:

Boeing Chairman and CEO Philip Condit believes in the importance of teamwork, both in the industry and in education. He feels that teamwork encourages people to approach problems in innovative ways. Unlike the individual-based system, teamwork promotes a clear structure of corporate programs while advancing customer concerns at the working level. Moreover, Condit believes that teamwork encourages cooperation among employees.

Civil engineering firms and management consultants have both become increasingly involved in providing specialized environmental services. New environmental laws that have reduced regulations associated with the remediation of contaminated land have created an increased need for services such as economic analysis, legal consulting, and project management.
