Protecting the environment.

Article Abstract:

A contractor must first identify the effects on the environmental aspects whether direct or indirect before he undertakes any new task, the direct effect means the environment is directly affected by the job that he performs like the disposal of waste from the job or the indirect aspect means the environment is affected through another organization like the job is outsourced to another company and it is affected due to the incorrect actions taken by that company. As soon as these incorrect actions are identified they must be rectified by the person in charge and to check these effects an environmental toolbox could be used and only if the company is protecting the environment can it claim for the ISO 14001.
