Quickly predict efficiency for centrifugal pumps

Article Abstract:

The most important factors which determine centrifugal pump efficiency include specific speed, NS, pump size, net positive suction head available and the type of pump chosen for certain service conditions. A procedure to measure the efficiency of centrifugal pumps using a Hydraulic Institute standard determines the kind of pump, deviations from maximum achievable efficiency and factors which affect efficiency.

Run clean with dry vacuum pumps

Article Abstract:

The issue of dry vacuum pumps helping to successfully tackle the reliability problems related to oil seal pumps and contamination due to back migration of vacuum pump oil, thus revolutionizing semiconductor processing are explored. The advantages of using a dry vacuum pump instead of steam-jets and liquid-ring pumps are discussed.
