Deconstruction is compost maturity

Article Abstract:

Some organic farmers have been debating on the definition of the word 'maturity,' specifically from the context of compost production. They argue that compost maturity implies a certain degree of completeness or maturation for it to be effective. However, this argument has no scientific basis since it has been proven that immature compost brings about the same results. The problem, then, arises from the ambiguity denoted by the term, and is basically semantic in nature.
