Odor control factors in compost site selection

Article Abstract:

Composting process control, containment of odorous zones, odor control technology and siting processes need to be thoroughly assessed prior to the initiation of compost site construction. Methods for studying the potential for odor emissions and impacts on the local populace include air dispersion modeling and evaluation of odor levels and flow rates from each source.
