Warehouse chic, a new form of retail is taking shape in Sarasota, Florida, which was created out of a blending of form and function. The flexibility and spaciousness of the warehouse is helping to draw customers who understand the value of handcrafted materials, recognize the quality of ancient lumber, and are willing to make the effort to restore something beautiful.

Using on-site systems to compost food residuals

Article Abstract:

Washington's Solid Waste Division has undertaken a project of on-site, in-vessel commercial food residuals composting. It has invited various businesses and schools to participate in this project to recycle food residuals and reduce disposal expenses.
