Cluster Analysis and Q-Analysis

Article Abstract:

Q-analysis is a relatively new approach in social sciences to analyzing data. Its characteristic algorithm corresponds to the single-link method of cluster analysis. This correspondence is investigated and the differences are discussed. The similarity may help reduce the insularity of Q-analysis. The correspondence may help achieve new insights into traditional clustering.

Recycling fatigue: the uphill battle to clean up the planet

Many people believe their recycling efforts are not benefitting the environment and have quit recycling their newspapers, cans and bottles, and purchasing recycled products. Ways for renewing interest and recycling efforts are described.
