Bah, wine humbug!

Article Abstract:

Vintners such as Fetzer, Hambrecht Wine Group and Laurel Glen Vineyard, all California winemakers, are selling Chilean and Argentinian wines without making it clear to consumers that the wines are not from California. The origin of some wines appears in very small print on some labels.

The cheeky American wine

Article Abstract:

A woman who was living with a wine snob shortly before California wines became appreciated bought a bottle of Beaulieu Cabernet Sauvignon. He rejected the wine at first, and they did not drink the wine for several years. It turned out to be wonderfu.
