Over 260 wines from regions throughout Germany are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. These Rieslings are from the excellent 1996 vintage. A Reinhold Haart Riesling Kabinett Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Piesporter Goldtropfchen at $19 is rated 90.

Exploring Chateau Beaucastel

Article Abstract:

The wines of the Rhone Valley chateau were tasted, and some of the best were the result of a blend of grapes. The Chateauneuf-du-Pape red is made with up to 13 different varieties of grapes. Several wines were tasted from various vintages.
