Restaurants: gambling gourmets

Article Abstract:

Many world-class chefs have opened restaurants in Las Vegas, including Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, and Charlie Palmer. This trend is part of the city's transformation into a high class resort town. Twenty-three of the top restaurants are evaluated for food, wine, service and ambience. Profiles of chefs are included.

Steak stampede

Article Abstract:

Three US steak restaurant chains offer admirable food and wine lists almost on par with top steak restaurants. Ruth's Chris, Morton's of Chicago, and The Palm all have excellent beef, similar menus, and good wine selections, while having diverse personalities as restaurants.

The Inn at Little Washington

The Inn at Little Washington is one of four restaurants given the 1995 Grand Awards by the Wine Spectator magazine for excellence in their cuisine and wine lists. The establishment is located in Washington, VA, and has an inventory of around 10,830 wine bottles.
