The man who made Stags Leap

Article Abstract:

Winemaker Nathan Fay is discussed with emphasis on his contribution to Californian wine making. Fay introduced cabernet sauvignon vines to his Stags Leap vineyard in 1961 and in 2000 12,000 acres of California are covered with this grape variety.
