Four delicious recipes for appetizers that would be ideal compliments to any sailing trip are presented. The four recipes are Tomato Eggplant Spread and Parmesan Toasts, Striped Bass Escabeche with Bell Peppers and Green Beans, Goat Cheese and Thyme Potato Cake, and Chewy Coconut Macadamia Bars.

Picnic in the snow

A blueberry-picking picnic
Article Abstract:
Chilled tomato soup, sandwiches, lemon squares and chilled white wine are the perfect foods for a picnic. In New England and many other regions blueberries can be picked off the bushes. Wine selection is discussed and recipes are given.
