Article Abstract:

Billy Best, the 16-year-old boy cancer patient ran away from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on October 26, 1994 to avoid chemotherapy. In January 1995, Billy began a daily regimen of drinking 9 ounces of Essiac tea and injecting himself with 714X. Within two and half months, Billy's cancer was gone.

A widow describes how she made Thanksgiving in 1998 memorable since she had no immediate family with which to spend it. She spent the day with a long-lost cousin reading through family papers and received a strong sense of family that provided her much cheer.
