Czechoslovakia has passed a law preventing top Communists, secret-police informants and members of People's Militia from holding important posts for five years. Many of those affected maintain that they were not true collaborators and are being treated unfairly.

How Milosevic stole the election

Official results showed Slobodan Milosevic won the Dec 1992 election in Serbia by 55%, although pre-election surveys and exit polls predicted a tie with Milan Panic. Panic's American campaign manager describes the unfair tactics used in Milosevic's campaign.
