Amir Attaran

Article Abstract:

Amir Attaran, armed with facts and a flair for the dramatic, is a master at bringing global agencies like, US Agency for International Development (USAID), World Health Organization (WHO), the World Bank, and even the Nobel Peace Prize-winning nonprofit group Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) to task. One of his merciless criticisms, which gained fast action from bureaucratic agencies, is accusing the World Bank of underfuning its malaria program and lying about the project's success in Brazil and India.
