Beans can make you ... lean?!

Article Abstract:

Scientific evidence shows that kidney beans help burn bodyfat for a leaner physique. Two rat studies conducted by researchers at the Rowett Research Institute in the UK revealed that kidney beans are capable of inducing fat loss.

Eat fat to lose fat?

Article Abstract:

The key factor in the loss of bodyfat seems to be the nutrients ingested during a negative energy balance when not enough calories are taken in to maintain body weight. A diet high in fats can cause an increase in fat breakdown.

All fats and oils are made up varying percentages of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Substituting polyunsaturates for saturated fats can lower risk of heart disease.
