How to address the many causes of carpal tunnel syndrome

Article Abstract:

Carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the work-related diseases that can be prevented. Its incidence in the occupational setting is increasing as a result of the proliferation of computers in the workplace. Thus, the employer must implement good ergonomics and occupational safety programs to prevent the occurrence of the disease and similar disorders. The employees must also be educated with ways of preventing work-related diseases and to adopt techniques that will lessen the possibility of undergoing surgical intervention.
