Joint safety committees build bridges

Article Abstract:

Firms that have created joint safety committees will reap benefits because of the increased communication and understanding between employers and employees leading to reduced workplace injuries. This remains a fact whether Congress will be able to pass a bill making it obligatory for employers to create such bodies. The Republican-dominated legislature is basically against increased regulations and thus, the successful passage of such a bill is still uncertain.
