Making a big event out of emergency care nursing

Article Abstract:

Many emergency care nurses get excited and earn extra money working at events such as pop concerts and student balls while event nursing allows them to practise skills in a different environment, which can be extended and challenged. The requirements for becoming an event nurse is to enjoy a challenge, deal with the unexpected, work in a demanding environment, stay calm in a crisis and communicate effectively.

Job focus - mental health: Nursing people with eating disorder

Article Abstract:

The Priory Hospital in Roehampton is likely to set up an eating disorder unit in September 2005 in order to treat nurses with eating disorders. National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) has come up with guidelines on eating disorders, which has helped to raise the profile of nursing people with eating disorders.
