Mid trimester sonographic findings for the prediction of Down syndrome in a sonographical screened population

Article Abstract:

The adjusted effect sizes of mid trimester sonographic findings that are associated with Down syndrome in a sonographically screened population are reported. Routinely collected mid trimester sonographic findings are associated significantly with Down syndrome risk in a sonographically screened population after accounting for maternal age and gestational age.

Application of the three-dimensional maximum mode in prenatal diagnosis of Apert syndrome

Article Abstract:

A cases study of a 29-year-old woman with Apert syndrome a rare disorder characterized by coronal craniosynostosis and other malformations was presented. The three-dimensional maximum mode was decisive for the correct prenatal diagnosis by demonstration of the cranial deformities.

Pudendal neuralgia, a severe pain syndrome

Article Abstract:

The clinical and electrodiagnostic findings, therapies, and outcomes of patients with pudendal neuralgia are described. The results revealed that pudendal neuralgia is poorly recognized and poorly treated.
