Multiperson use of syringes among injection drug users in a needle exchange program: A gene-based molecular epidemiologic analysis

Article Abstract:

The extent of MP4 of syringes returned to the Baltimore needle exchange program (NEP) based on the genetic biomarkers and the association between MP4 of syringes and self-reports of needle-sharing behavior in a retrospective study of attendees of NEP is discussed. It was seen that primary exchangers were less likely to share syringes compared with those who returned syringes acquired by others.
