Article Abstract:

The opportunities to develop long-term relationships with patients by earning their trust and the fascination of diagnosing disorders from puzzling symptoms are very rewarding aspects of being a primary care physician. Taking care of patients as their primary care doctor is the best job in medicine, and an urgent need is felt to reverse the trend of fewer medical students opting for a career in primary care medicine.
