Clear as mud

Article Abstract:

A case study of a 17-year-old boy who suffered from low back pain, a temperature of high as 40 degree Celsius, headache, diffuse myalgias, and vomiting is presented in stages. The results of laboratory test performed at the physician's office revealed a creatinine level of 7.5 mg per deciliter, with a level of blood urea nitrogen of 58 mg per deciliter.

Building a diagnosis from the ground up

Article Abstract:

The case of a 49-year-old man, who visited a clinic after a one-week history of suprapubic pain and fever, and the subsequent diagnosis and treatment of his condition, are discussed. An account of how the final diagnosis of blastomycosis was reached step-by-step, by analyzing one clue at a time, is presented.
