Shellfish: off the cholesterol blacklist

Article Abstract:

The choleseterol levels for shellfish is high but most shellfish are low in total fat with omega-3 fatty acids that lowered cholesterol levels and reduced risk of heart disease. Certain shellfish are providing vitamin B-12 and high quality of protein that can be suitable for heart healthy diet.

Eggs: innovations haven't changed recommendations

Article Abstract:

There has been a number of changes in the egg industry, as scientists have introduced pasteurized eggs, eggs with omega-3 fatty acids, and low-cholesterol eggs. However, a moderate consumption of eggs is still recommended as concerns over dietary cholesterol remain.
