Roger Bibbings describes RoSPA's response to a potentially important discussion document strategic thinking on health and safety: work in progress (SID01) published in July by the health and safety commission (HSC). The aim of the HSC's discussion exercise is to draw key health and safety system (HSS) stakeholders into the process of future strategy development.

Fighting back against MSDs

Article Abstract:

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) account for 60 percent of all absenteeism from work and affects around 1.1. million people each year. The incidence of work related illness caused by MSDs were targeted for reduction by 20 percent over ten years.
